Giving Back
At HoneyNett Construction Specialties, we believe that giving back to the community is about more than just writing a check. It’s about using what we know and what we do to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
That’s why we are proud to introduce May the IV Be with Us the HoneyNett Veterans Project starting Spring 2027. Each year, we will select a local veteran whose home / property could benefit from a construction, concrete, accessibility, or property-improvement project. Our goal is to complete the selected project by the fall, at no cost to the veteran.
How It Works
Nominate a Veteran
Do you know a veteran who has given so much to our country and could use a helping hand at home?
We invite family members, friends, neighbors, fellow veterans, community members, or the veteran themselves to submit a nomination.
Tell us about the veteran, their service, and the project you believe would make a meaningful difference.
Selection
Nominations will be reviewed by HoneyNett Construction Specialties. We will consider the veteran's circumstances, the needs of the property, the potential impact of the project, and whether the project can reasonably be completed with the resources available.
The selected veteran will be announced each spring.
Project
Once selected, HoneyNett Construction Specialties will work with the veteran to determine the project scope and develop a plan to complete the work by the fall.
Our services may include concrete repairs or replacement, concrete cutting and coring, accessibility improvements, egress-related work, site improvements, or other projects that fit within our capabilities.
A Community Effort
We are a small, locally owned business, and we aren't a large corporation with an unlimited budget. But we believe that shouldn't stop us from trying to make a difference.
HoneyNett Construction Specialties will contribute our time, experience, equipment, and services toward the project. We will also work with local businesses, organizations, suppliers, and members of our community to help raise additional funds and materials when needed.
The more our community comes together, the more we can accomplish for a deserving veteran.
Nominate a Veteran
If you know a veteran who deserves to be considered for the May the IV Be with Us Project, we would love to hear their story.
Please complete the nomination form below and tell us:
Nominations will be accepted throughout the year, with the selected veteran announced each spring.
Project completion is targeted for the fall, subject to project scope, permitting, weather, fundraising, material availability, and other necessary conditions.
This isn't about how much we can spend.
It's about what we can do together.
Thank You to Our Veterans
To every veteran who has served our country—and to the families who stood beside them—thank you.
We are honored to have the opportunity to give something back.
